Sadly, later on, I heard that three of them suffered from frostbite. It happened due to the following reasons: when I was coming down I felt quite heavy coldness. The wind was very strong in its flow towards the East site. It was too strong for us to stand still without the tight holding on to the rope. Despite of the fact of this wind, I could head my way down quite quickly. I think due to the blessings of God, but poor! those foreigners were left far behind. Indeed, in the Himalayan, no matter how much you want to help, how can you help when you are helpless yourself? Sadly, I left them behind feeling quite sad in my heart.

I reached the South cole (Camp 4) at around 6:45 PM or so on May 20th. I was very tired. Really extremely exhausted! I was quite thirsty, but I was really too tired to cook for water. (Ice has to be cooked in order to make the water out of it). Not knowing anything, I fell asleep. I woke up only in the 21st morning at about 8:30. Today is the day that Master is coming down. I cooked the ice and drank it. I warmed the readymade food and ate it. Today, I thought, Master will come down later. So I may better prepare the water and some food for Master. But, it suddenly occurred to me that Oh! Master wont speak. May be Master will neither drink nor eat.

I started watching the videos that I had taken before. I did not realize until very later that time was gone. I was completely imprisoned by videos unconsciously for so long!

Alas! At around 3:20 - 25 or so, I saw Master coming down. To my surprise, he was not wearing the Down Suit (the one that an Everest climber uses to prevent the extreme coldness and windy.) He was wearing rather a jacket sent to him by Yatris from USA. He was in a bit of rush. I tried to push myself towards him in my excitement but Master neither stopped nor said anything. He was in continuous (steady) motion. Eventually, to my relief, Master looked at me and signaled me with his fingers (in sign language) that he left the Top (the TAPASYA place) at 1:00 (PM), and he was going down to the Base Camp, and he was in Silent TAPASYA still. That’s it !!! And he is lost from the scene soon.
