Sadly, later on, I heard that three of them suffered from frostbite. It happened due to the following reasons: when I was coming down I felt quite heavy coldness. The wind was very strong in its flow towards the East site. It was too strong for us to stand still without the tight holding on to the rope. Despite of the fact of this wind, I could head my way down quite quickly. I think due to the blessings of God, but poor! those foreigners were left far behind. Indeed, in the Himalayan, no matter how much you want to help, how can you help when you are helpless yourself? Sadly, I left them behind feeling quite sad in my heart.
I reached the South cole (Camp 4) at around 6:45 PM or so on May 20th. I was very tired. Really extremely exhausted! I was quite thirsty, but I was really too tired to cook for water.
